TR24-HD Mechanical Felling Wedge

Would you like a little more? – The TR24-HD for “heavier duty” applications!

Due to the finer threaded spindle, the TR24-HD has a higher compressive force of 16 tonnes than the TR24-AQ, but is only slightly heavier at 2.1 kg. With its lifting height of 4.5 cm, it is perfectly suited for medium to heavy timber. While the TR24-AQ works a little faster, the TR24-HD scores with its exceptional power.

Features:

• Patented spindle arrangement: this allows us to install a very robust 24 mm spindle and still keep the weight low.
• Plastic pressure wedge with 18° angle is compact and easy to replace.
• Sturdy 2 mm spring steel plates with 80 mm wide contact surface for stable and safe use.
• Optimum application of force: The low pitch of the spindle ensures optimal application of force into the pressure wedge and therefore works particularly efficiently.
• The spindle and bearings are designed for the toughest applications

For the best power to weight ratio we recommend to operate the TR24-HD with the Milwaukee M18 FMTIW2P12 impact wrench with 745 Nm .The M18 FMTIW2P12 impact wrench has a security PIN that allows you to connect the cordless screwdriver firmly and securely to the wedge. This means you have a safe unit that is comfortable to wear.  In this complete set the TR24-HD with this driver, along with an 18V 5 Ah battery weighs a total of only 4.7 kg and can therefore be carried comfortably on the user's belt (see available accessories).
