Delivery and Returns
UK Standard Delivery Charges
We deliver to mainland U.K. addresses; however, a small surcharge may be applied to some Scotland addresses and off shore Islands. Please feel free to phone for a quote for delivery charges and to place orders for delivery in these areas.
Our delivery charges are dependant on weight:
- Orders 2 kg and under are sent via 2nd class Royal Mail Tracked 48 + Signature at a rate of £5.45 + VAT.
- Orders 2 kg - 65 kg are sent via a a fast parcels operator chosen dependant on the delivery location a d products being sent, at a rate of £12.00 to £35.00 + VAT.
- Orders over 65 kg are sent via pallet network at a rate of £85.00 + VAT.
Customer are free to collect orders from us if they choose. In this case please contact us to arrange.
We understand that some customers may prefer to avoid certain carriers, so please do contact us to discuss available options.
Where on my property will you deliver my order to?
Due to insurance guidelines, standard courier delivery will be to your door, or for pallet deliveries to kerbside only. Delivery personnel are unable to enter private residences, so the recipient of the goods is responsible for any additional lifting once the initial delivery has been made.
Our pallet delivery drivers are not expected to manoeuvre the pallet beyond the rear of the vehicle but will risk assess each delivery and always be as helpful as possible where conditions allow.
In the event of a delivery not being possible due to poor access or gravel drive then the delivery will have to be “kerbside” (i.e. left as near to the property as possible).
On making a bulk purchase, once delivered, the pallet on which the product is delivered automatically becomes the property of the purchaser.
Do I have to sign for delivery?
Yes, all goods must be checked on arrival and delivery paperwork signed by a person over the age of 18 unless prior agreement has been made with the delivery company to leave the goods at the property at which point these will be left at the customer’s risk.
Wherever possible, it is important to note damage or shortages at delivery, signing for a 'damaged' or 'missing', taking photos if possible. Please immediately then contact us to let us know.
Can I specify a time and date for delivery?
Palletised deliveries are usually made within 5-7 working days of order throughout the UK, although next day delivery may be possible if prior arranged, subject to a surcharge. We endeavour to make all non palletised deliveries within 1-3 days, and will be next day wherever possible. Deliveries normally occur between 7am and 6pm. The exact timing of delivery cannot generally be specified, but if you contact us with your request, if it will be possible we will try to meet your requirements.
Products may arrive at different times or days and may be sent via different couriers.
What if I'm out when you try to deliver?
If there is no one at the delivery address, or there not being a safe place to leave the goods as pre-arranged with the Buyer, the delivery company will leave notification of their visit and will then contact you to arrange re-delivery at a convenient time. You may have to pay another delivery charge for this, depending on the delivery company.
What happens if any of the items ordered are out of stock?
If any items you order are not available we will use the telephone or email details you have provided to contact you and discuss how you wish to proceed. If we are not able to contact you we will use our discretion and send you the items that are available or refund you accordingly.

Returns
If the goods are faulty, incorrect or damaged on delivery we will offer an exchange or refund as appropriate.

We recommend that you obtain a certificate of posting for you records; they remain your responsibility until they reach us. Please pack the delivery note with the goods to be returned.
Please note: A refund of the return delivery charge will only be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods.
Please ensure that the goods are suitably packaged to prevent damage in transit. When returning goods please state the reason for return on the delivery note and whether a refund or replacement is requested. Please pack the delivery note with the item to be returned.
